My name is Akiff and I’m an internal medicine resident physician with a background in health tech. Over the years, I’ve learned a lot about the healthcare system from many different perspectives. This newsletter is a place for me to write out my thoughts on interesting things going on in the healthcare system.

In the past I’ve worked for a payor in the health tech space, been in the weeds of healthcare data, and am now a physician providing care. All these experiences really help me understand how different parts of the healthcare system come together and how we can fix a system that (let’s be honest) is broken.
