You’re a busy clinician. I get it. There is so much medical information to catch up on - from the latest academic publications to national health news to clinical podcasts.
As an internal medicine doctor, I feel this pain too. That’s why I built Discharge Summary: a newsletter that delivers timely, relevant, and digestible summaries of your favorite medical podcasts directly to your inbox.
Podcasts have a ton of useful knowledge and pearls, but as clinicians we may not always have the time to listen to them. Discharge Summary provides you with summaries and key takeaways from the top medical podcasts.
Right now, we’re starting with podcasts but the hope is to broaden this to academic papers and other sources of medical education and guidelines so that you can always stay on top of the latest clinical updates.
As a clinician your priority should be taking care of your patients. Discharge Summary is here to make sure that you can stay on top of the ever changing medical landscape.
A little bit about me - I’m an internal medicine doctor in NYC with a background in technology. I love practicing medicine, learning about how our healthcare system works, and thinking about how technology can interact with different parts of the system. Physician tools (think MDCalc, Open Evidence, UpToDate) are so key but so overlooked. I’m excited to build my own suite of tools that will help me improve my practice while also sharing them with other clinicians. I appreciate you subscribing to my project and supporting my work so that I can keep building. I’m always open to your feedback so please reach out if you have ideas on how to improve this product.
